(c) Explain some properties of probability and probability functions. (4 Marks)
(d) A random sample is to be selected from a lot of 15 articles, 4 of which are non-confirming. What is the probability that the sample will contaibn less than 3 non-containing items? (4 Marks).

5 (a) State and explain central limit theorem. (6 Marks)
(b) What is process capability? (6 Marks)
(c) A product has a specification of 48±3 on one of its quality characteristic. Assume a normal distribution. What would be process average and standard deviation if the specifications have to fall exactly at X1±3s1. Assuming the process capabilities meet the values established in.
